16th 2013 marked the day that I broke my all time seizure free
record: 3 weeks. Knock on wood! From diagnosis to before surgery, I was either
having a seizure a day, or a 1-2 week seizure free streak until seizures
started breaking through my medications; being seizure free for this long feels
so surreal. Surgery was the best decision I have ever made, because my quality
of life has improved tremendously. The fear of having a seizure is still in the
back of mind, but this fear hardly exists anymore. Let the seizure free record
continue!
